What does Integrative Medicine mean?
Dr. Offutt and her staff treat relationships as partnerships for better health. Our strategies are customized based on the patient’s previous treatments and responses. We use a combination of conventional and alternative therapies including supplements and IV therapies. We will address all aspects of health and work on the most deficient systems first. The path to better health can take significant time and effort, but evaluating for the deeper causes of the problem and addressing those can result in lasting outcomes and improved vitality.
Will anything be covered by my health insurance?
Our office does not accept insurance assignment for our medical visits or therapies offered in our office. We are not contracted with any insurance agencies. We will supply patients with a superbill and for non-Medicare patients, these can be submitted by the patient for reimbursement. We make no guarantees of coverage for any services offered by our practice and do not provide any support for insurance filing. Some patients report a partial reimbursement and others do not receive reimbursement.
We do have various lab options available in our office that can be submitted to insurance or Medicare on your behalf.
Is there a late cancellation fee or no show fee?
All cancellations require a 24 hour notice. We charge $100 for notice given less than 24 hours before the assigned appointment time. Also, please know that we will see you if you are late to an appointment but will not be able to extend your appointment length beyond the originally scheduled time. This will cut your appointment short so please be a bit early to each appointment. Also, we will always do our best to let you know if we are running behind, and we appreciate you for working with us to help our office run as smoothly as possible.
