“I am grateful to be able to partner with my patients on their journey to better health. Having recovered from Mycotoxin illness myself, I understand the treacherous journey and feel blessed to be able to relate to my patients in that way. I believe the best care comes from addressing physical, emotional and spiritual health and developing a partnership between patient and provider that fits each patient’s unique needs.”

Julie K. O’Leary
LAc, LMT
Specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal pain, Julie combines acupuncture and bodywork in a unique way to help patients manage a myriad of pain management issues and other health concerns. In treatment, Julie utilizes a variety of needling techniques such as traditional tap and set acupuncture, dry needling and subcutaneous needling as well as cupping, gua sha, bodywork and electroacupuncture.
Julie’s treatment style can range from gentle to more direct, depending on the needs of the individual patient. Julie meets patients where they are and tailors her treatments accordingly. Either way treatments are designed to root out problem areas in as few sessions as possible so patients can get back to feeling their best sooner than later. Other areas of specialty include autoimmunity, emotional wellness, reproductive health, prenatal labor prep and other general health concerns. Patients find they receive multiple benefits from their time in Julie’s care, such as pain relief, reduced anxiety, better sleep, a favorable mood, a balanced appetite, improved energy and many other holistic benefits.
At the root of Julie’s treatment philosophy is somatic mindfulness. Also known as the mind-body connection. As a holistic practitioner, Julie approaches all treatments through intentions of wholeness. The mind and body are not separate. One cannot be treated without the other. In each treatment, Julie aims to provide a space for clients to discover a personal connection between their physical experience and how that experience is both affecting and being affected by their mental and emotional activity. Each session aims to bring new awareness and shift the nervous system out of fight or flight into rest and digest. It is within this space where healing occurs.
